Project Aims
The aim of this project is to interpret, research and identify the best transmedia platforms suitable to deliver the anti-smoking message. By doing so, I will attempt to establish whether collaboration, the platform or the techniques in hand that leads to success of the practical part of this project. The second issue is about how to exploit the effect of this transmedia campaign on consumers (first line receivers and those who I will try to achieve this aim by researching the following questions:
- What do consumers chose to do with a message they receive (do they add their own spin to it, do they get involved and mash it up, they pass it on to people in their network);
- The importance of transmedia in social marketing at planting/delivering the message;
- The power of particular channel to engage people;
- The number of influential people that channel reaches;
- The number of people they go on to reach in turn;
- To prove that the entertainment education approach works to change knowledge, attitudes and behaviors, transmedia storytelling has the potential to match and exceed that success..
